Our Mid Lancs team had a difficult season in Division 3 after losing our best player to a higher Division 1 club. The player had to move to continue his development in the Lancashire County squad at a much higher level. We managed to remain in Division 3 and missed out in the Semi Final of the cup by just 10 points.
Following promotion to Division 1 of the Blackpool League, the Mixed A team had an extremely hard season. Although some of the matches were close, and we even managed to win a few, we were relegated back to Division 2.
Our new Mixed B team, introduced to develop our club players, enjoyed their first season and again had some good wins, finishing mid table. They hope to build on their experience next season.
Our Men's Levels team had an outstanding season, and were Champions of the Men's league for the first time in the club’s history. Although the team consists of 4 men, there were numerous club players who helped bring about this achievement.
